Check both sides want it
Before introducing a client to a partner, confirm the client is open to it and the partner can take it — their availability is on their B2B ID. Double opt-in is still the standard.
Lead with the need, then the fit
One or two sentences: what the client needs, roughly when and at what scale, and why this partner specifically. The partner’s proof does the rest.
State what you’d like to happen next
A call this week? A proposal? Say it. The receiving party should be able to accept the introduction and act without a follow-up question.
Then step back
Your job was to transfer trust with context. Once accepted, let the two parties take it from there — and ask your partner to tell you how it went.
